Have you tried department stores? Like Macy’s, Dillards, JC Pennys, etc? They usually have a junior dress section, and since the prom hype is over they probably aren’t as expensive.

Do you have a Windsor at your mall? They have the cutest dresses and they’re not super expensive either! http://www.windsorstore.com/

This may not be a popular answer, however…

Have you thought about maybe looking in a used/second hand clothing store? Or maybe even in a thrift store? They can actually have some nice/cute things there, and for good prices (usually), too.

It’s just a thought, please don’t flame me for suggesting it. :)

    Good luck at your recital!

I don’t know where you live but we have Goodwill stores here in town and formals are $ 10. You may want to try a second hand store or a consignment shop. If all else fails, try ebay. Here is a link to the Goodwill Locator on the internet, http://locator.goodwill.org/
    Good luck
