Another advantage to dressing her up is that I get some decent poses out of her even when she is just doing regular things, waiting for the car pool. Since bending really isn’t an option, she almost looks like she is posing for this shot! Plus, I can probably out run her in those heels and corset… so many camera is safe.
Guys, I know it looks like having a girlfriend with a formal corset looks fun and sexy, but be warned:

Once you (and yes, YOU) lace it there is no more bending or fast movements out of her. You then have to touch up toe nail polish (which looks fine to you), figure out how to buckle strappy sandals (which doesn’t stay on her feet very long) and place rose tipped bobby pins in her hair (which you have no business even KNOWING THEY EXIST). But you do end up with a sexy dressing girlfriend, it the night isn’t a complete loss!

I love the irony of the casual fabric and formal shape. I tried this dress on and got my biatches to take a photo. I wanted it bad, but couldn’t decide – there are so many great shops in LA and I had only so much in the splurge budget. I thought about this dress the rest of the day and went back, note it’s made out of knit jersey (tshirt) material and when Angela convinced me my machine couldn’t do the gathering in the back I decided to go for it. Note the ruffle on the bottom of the front. I LOVE THIS DRESS! It’s by KellyNishimoto and I got it a Inago on West Third.
