Bridesmaid dresses?
Question by Beffy: Bridesmaid dresses?
I am trying pick out some silver bridesmaid dresses for my bridesmaids. I have 4 of them and each one has a completely different body type. What would be the best kind of dresses to get that would look good on everyone but that also doesn’t look like a million other dresses? Anyone have any websites too?
It’s not that i THINK everyone has to be wearing the same thing, I WANT everyone to be wearing the same thing because it will look nicer.

I have six bridesmaids and I allowed them to wear different styles of the same color/fabric. That way, they will all look pretty and be comfortable and the entire bridal party will be happy.
I don’t know why brides insist that every single bridesmaid must wear the same dress. Just make sure they all have the same color.

Why don’t you get 4 different dresses in the same color? Each girl or yourself could pick dresses catered to their specific body type. For my wedding I didn’t really have to worry my sisters and my best friend are all very thin so the dresses looked great but if you want your bridesmaids to be comfortable and have confidence and the dress will really make a difference. Well, i recommend you go to davidsbridal.com, it is really nice and has a lot of really great bridesmaid dresses. They have different kinds, like full dresses or separates(were you can mix and match) different peices to make a dress, and if you don’t want different dresses than pick out one, that compliments everyone’s figure! Just take all of them to the bridal shop and have them all try on dresses and see what style compliments them all. As you pick dresses for them to try on, they do not have to be the same color you want, just so you get an idea on what the best style would be. Could be a fun outing!

Probably the thing to do is plan an all-day shopping trip.
You’re dealing with personal preferences, big boobs vs smaller boobs, wide hips vs narrow hips, flabby arms someone want to cover, & possibly a tattoo you might want covered.
I like the same dress style, too, but the same color/different dress has been a blessing to many a bridesmaid/wedding.
